FlightWorthy.org – Our Mission
FlightWorthy.org was born out of a personal need—a better way to manage the maintenance, compliance, and airworthiness of my own aircraft and others I’ve helped care for over the years. General aviation aircraft owners face a daunting array of responsibilities, and staying on top of airworthiness is not just about safety—it’s the law. According to the FAA Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), it is ultimately the owner’s responsibility—not the A&P’s—to ensure their aircraft is airworthy.
FlightWorthy is a nonprofit initiative built to serve this critical need by empowering owners with the tools to meet their flightworthy responsibilities. Through intuitive project and task management, D-List tracking, and parts supply chain coordination, our platform simplifies what has traditionally been a fragmented, paper-heavy process.
Beyond the technical, we strive to foster a stronger general aviation community. FlightWorthy.org aims to promote better relationships between aircraft owners and A&Ps—whose numbers are dwindling—by improving communication, clarifying expectations, and reducing the all-too-common “shock invoice” that results from uncommunicated discrepancies and the challenges of sourcing parts.
We also seek to support freelance pilots by providing tools to streamline billing and invoicing, making it easier and less awkward to get paid for their services.

Our broader mission is to strengthen general aviation by reducing the administrative and logistical burdens owners face, bridging communication gaps, and helping ensure a safer, more sustainable future for GA. By promoting accountability, transparency, and community, we aim to lift the heavy burden of compliance and empower pilots and owners to fly with confidence.
